Ananda Development PCL, led by Mr. Chanond Ruangkritya, the Chief Executive Officer and President of Ananda Development PCL, in collaboration with Habitat for Humanity Thailand, together with over 50 management members, employees and volunteers who were co-owners from 14 projects, shared happiness with Thai society through the project “Give Homes Give Hugs Year 3 @ Kanchanaburi” for Q4/2019. The objective of the collaboration was to build houses for underprivileged people in Lum Rang subdistrict, Bo Phloi district, Kanchanaburi province under the concept of sharing happiness in relation to providing basic necessities for living and of encouraging all Thais to have their own housing with the intention to improve their quality of life. This was a 3-year project which aimed to provide funding and volunteers to build houses for underprivileged people in Kanchanaburi province. So far, under the project, 74 houses and one shelter for flood victims have been built. As part of the event, a special activity called “Bike for Change to Fulfil Dreams for Children in Remote Areas” was held. The special activity asked for the donation of old, unusable bicycles in the project area so that they could be repaired to work again and then donate them to people in need. So far, 35 bicycles have been donated. This activity signified the closure the project “Give Homes Give Hugs Project @ Kanchanaburi.”
